Each course will meet every other week Every session will leave you with "homework" to practice until the next course gathering. This will allow more time for personal development, and will help participants absorb more information due to the spread out format. Each course will have a limited number of riders to ensure that every participant gets the necessary attention needed.

This 4 day course is about becoming a better rider for your horse. How effective are you at teaching your horse something new? This 2 day course is for those who are either new to horses or new to Natural Horsemanship. Learn the beginning steps to obtaining a true partnership with your horse. This course is geared to focus on the rider. Better seat position and posture leads to less confusion and more clarity of signals while riding. Learn how to improve your equitation and your independent seat. It will cover different seat positions and when to use them. Learn exercises to improve balance, and flexibility. This 2 day course is for the intermediate to advanced rider. Experience the significance of continuing a partnership with your horse in the most natural setting available. Learn to trail ride safely and maintain control while out on a ride by yourself or with a group. Learn about all the challenges such as: crossing water, bridges, logs, and hills etc... Find helpful exercises to use in sticky situations.

This one day course is going to be a brush up class for those who need an extra boost of confidence to help get you back on the trail! This course will lightly cover a variety of topics from the Trail Savvy, Safety and Challenges Course. It is open to intermediate level- advanced riders.

Body asymmetry and imbalances can lead to unintentional, confused directives from rider to horse. For the equine companion this information from rider is received as 'static', fuzzy, & muddled. If the Rider isn't clear in their own body about particular asymmetries and ways to move out of them, then the equine companion also gets confused information. Communication becomes more effortful, the rider ends up working harder, rather than softer. Both individuals end up using unnecessary effort and building up tension. Trying to 'Correct' these postural habits and asymmetries leads to even more extraneous and unnecessary tension. The Embodied Horsemanship Clinic will provide the rider with the tools to become a more precise & dynamic mover and clearer communicator with your equine companion. Not by trying to 'correct' asymmetries, but by giving the rider more choices.
